Police search for man accused of killing stepson on Thanksgiving | News
CHAMBLEE, Ga. – Police are searching for a man accused of killing his stepson after a Thanksgiving Day argument.
Authorities say Cristino Ramos-Santos shot 16-year-old Andres Arias in an apartment complex parking lot Thursday night.
“My brother was just trying to protect my little brother. He was trying to save him because he was trying to take him away from us,” Arias said. “He tried to fight my mom too. My brother got in-between them, and he pushed him away. My brother -- he always tries to be the brave one -- and then my stepdad went and took the gun and shot him four times."
Andres Arias was a junior at Lakeview High School.
"He was a very good kid," said Paula Lavalley. "Very protective over his family, especially his mom."
