ATLANTA -- North DeKalb Health Center will hold a free bilingual health fair in conjunction with the Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia (HHCGA).
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 pm. on Saturday, Oct. 6. The goal of the event is to help more than 400 families by providing free health services like blood pressure and cholesterol screenings, women's clinical exams, flu shots and more.
"Providing Latinos in our region with access to health care isn't just an important goal; it is essential to the success of our community," HHCGA executive director Heidy Guzman said in a statement. "By reducing barriers to health care access, the result will be healthier families and, ultimately, a healthier community which will benefit us all."
North DeKalb Health Center is located at 3807 Clairmont Road in Atlanta.
